Agape House of Prescott Receives Grant from the
OneAZ Community Foundation
OneAZ Community Foundation has awarded grants to 50 Arizona nonprofit organizations
PHOENIX, AZ June 21, 2022 – The OneAZ Community Foundation has awarded Agape House of Prescott a $5,000 Community Impact Grant for their work improving the lives of their community.
Mission Statement: “We exist to provide long-term transitional housing for families who are without a residence. We work to rebuild and transform families’ lives and prepare them for an independent and self-sustained future.”
In 2022, the OneAZ Community Foundation will award $250,000 (more than double the amount from last year) to fifty organizations through the Community Impact Grant program. Grants are awarded to organizations that support at least one of the Foundation’s five pillars: Children’s Health, Food Banks, Financial Education, Veterans’ Interests, and Local Youth Programs.
Since 2016, the OneAZ Community Foundation has given nearly $750,000 in grants to support Arizona nonprofit organizations.
“We are proud to give back to the nonprofits in the communities we serve at our highest level ever. As OneAZ grows, so does our giving. Our members help raise the funds given from the Foundation through their OneAZ debit card swipes and that money is invested in their communities by supporting organizations that improve the lives of Arizona families and neighborhoods,” said Foundation Chairperson Sam Wheeler.
