Prescott and Prescott Valley Agape Transitional Housing Communities
Prescott
As Prescott’s largest family-inclusive transitional housing community, Agape House obtained a permanent facility where families can find safety, stability, transitional housing, and support as they work to rebuild their lives. This nine-unit apartment complex, near downtown Prescott, not only provides a secure place to call home, but also offers a community of support. Families help families, mentors have a central location to meet with the families, and kids have a place to play and be kids. For many of the children, this is the first home that they have ever had. Serving up to 16 families annually.
Prescott Valley
On December 13, 2023, Agape House staff and supporters broke ground for the Prescott Valley Community as a “perfect spot” for families, surrounded by local community resources including Prevent Child Abuse (PCA), Dept of Economic Security (DES), Yavapai Family Advocacy Center (YFAC), and Casa For Kids.
The six-unit property with two-bedroom manufactured homes will nearly double capacity. The estimated cost of this community is $1.8M, including land prep, utilities, the purchase of six homes, and the first two years of staffing and operational costs. The first two families moved in January 2025, and the remainder will move in once the houses are complete! The expansion project, upon completion, will serve up to 28 families annually at both the Prescott and Prescott Valley sites.
