New hope and excitement have arrived for what God has planned for Agape House!

Where We Are Today

Do you remember, as a curious child, watching a new home in the neighborhood being built? Wondering, how long is this going to take!? We are prayerfully wondering the same question.

The homes arrived in Prescott Valley in October and are coming together. We are currently in the final steps for code compliance, fire safety, and inspection.

Thank YOU! You All have been Generous and Faithful.

There have been so many steps in the process, and so many people to thank! We can’t list them all, but here’s an extra big thank you to the following, who have helped along the journey:

• Southwest Homes for helping to prepare the homes.
• The Town of PV is working closely with us as we reach solutions and achieve completion.
• Furniture Angels and donors from all around the town furnished the homes.
• A grant from a small, faithful foundation allowed us to purchase bunk beds (Thanks to the staff and the kind-hearted renovation team who assembled all of them!)
• Amazon warehouse donated small appliances, sheets, shower curtains, plungers, and so much more!
• ZebraScapes helped with the landscaping, walkway, turf, and riprap.
• Fry’s Food awarded grants for refrigerators.
• Quality Maytag then helped us buy those refrigerators, and offered help with washers and dryers too. They were able to find used, in good condition units for us. Such a wonderful collaboration!

Year-end giving was at a high this year and accounted for a large share of the funding. With approximately $178,000 raised in just the six days between Christmas and New Year’s Eve, you ALL showed up and gave! Donations ranged from $10 to $75,000, and the most common gift was about $1,000. Many families participated in the AZ Charitable Tax Credit. Others gave through trusts, stocks, and foundations. We also saw an increase in giving through IRAs and RMDs (Required Minimum Distributions), particularly from those age 70 and older. Over the full year in 2025, Agape House raised nearly $1.9M.

We understand that some people are still planning to participate in the AZ Charitable Tax Credit, and the deadline is not until April 15th. For this, we are also grateful! Funds from local individuals, churches, clubs, grants, foundations, and businesses have been plentiful.

Here’s Where We’re Going

Three pending grant award announcements will serve as the Prescott Valley campaign’s “closers.” These awards and announcements should arrive near the end of the first quarter. They will help us complete the programming, utilities, landscaping, final construction, and household setup. Once those have been secured, and the families can move in, we will celebrate.

We are on a journey serving families who need second chances. We own 15 debt-free homes, and there is strong momentum behind us to continue growing and serving families that are seeking to rebuild. People believe in our families. We have 91 monthly donors and we received over 700 gifts last year. Supporters understand second chances and that transformational healing takes time. It takes time to heal, to learn about and trust God in the process, to overcome, to rebuild, to save, to create new habits, to find new jobs, new schools, and sometimes new friends.

Agape House served 57 families since 2015. We watched mothers protect their children, fight hard, cry, and heal through one-on-one counseling and mentoring. We saw hardship and families rebuild. Babies were born healthy and safe, grown men cried out of gratitude, we witnessed grateful hearts, and lives were changed forever.

Thank you! Together, we serve a beautiful population. THANK YOU for walking with us over this last year.

In Christ we Trust,

Becky
