The Agape House team enjoys reporting physical accomplishments such as families moving in, new jobs, and transportation donated. Even above those praises, we love to report about the internal events that occur every week that change people ‘s lives in countless ways.

“Keys to Freedom” Bible Study
“Keys to Freedom” is an 8-week Bible study for the Agape families. The program is designed for residents to become fully independent and find health and healing from past wounds. The “Keys to Freedom” is a safe learning place to discover and share the love of Christ. These classes teach our residents how forgiveness can help break generational patterns by making a vital connection with Jesus Christ.

Faith and Finances Class
The “Faith and Finances” classes are Christ-centered weekly classes provided to our residents to develop life skills in financial responsibility and planning. These classes help to ensure the long-term success of our residents in reaching full financial independence. This class provides a platform for families to share personal struggles and gain practical tools for everyday life. Recently a mother who graduated from the Agape House program shared how important it is to work hard and complete the program “because life is so much better now than she could have ever imagined.”

Ministering to Children
Agape House has dedicated volunteers who teach our children during the weekly adult classes. Our volunteers provide a Christ-centered environment where the children can learn about God in a fun atmosphere, playing games, and learning about God’s love through Bible stories. One of our resident’s daughters has started helping with childcare and even taught last week. She is a bright young lady, and we love watching her use her gifts and skills in this way.

A New Baby is Born
Agape House family celebrates the birth of a sweet little 5-pound baby girl into our family. We celebrate with her mom and big brother. Mom, brother, and baby are adjusting and doing well. New life is such a beautiful gift! Thanks to Agape House and our faithful partners, this precious family brought this baby home to a warm apartment, with healthy food and a lot of support and encouragement. Please pray for this sweet mother as she raises her precious children.
