Homeless Services in the Prescott Area

Our Mission

We exist to provide long-term transitional housing for families who are without a residence. We work to rebuild and transform families’ lives and prepare them for an independent and self-sustained future.

Agape House of Prescott shows families in crisis love and support and share the hope of Jesus. Through discipleship, mentoring, life skills training, and interim housing for families experiencing homelessness, Agape House has achieved an 86% success rate of families living independently one year after leaving the program.

Agape House is working diligently to make a significant impact on the homeless crisis in Prescott.

Families Seek a Fresh Start

Having served more than 200 people, Agape House serves families with children. The most common family type is a single-parent household with three children.  If a single dad or single mom has one or two, they can stay with their grandparent or auntie, but once that third child comes along, it’s a little more challenging.

We have had the distinct privilege to walk alongside 57 families.  Oftentimes, they have just lost nearly everything- not just their housing, but often, family relationships have been broken.   Seeking a fresh start – many families start here at Agape.

Thank you for partnering with us as we continue to serve those who call our phone lines daily.

Our program has an 86% success rate of families living independently one-year after graduation from Agape House.

Agape House Communities

Family-Inclusive Interim Housing

Agape House serves families through two growing communities in Prescott and Prescott Valley. In Prescott, Agapeville I is a nine-unit transitional housing community near downtown, providing safety, stability, and supportive relationships for up to 16 families each year as they rebuild their lives. Expanding this impact, Agapeville II in Prescott Valley will add six two-bedroom homes—nearly doubling capacity—while placing families near vital community resources, with completion expected in Spring 2026.

Hear From Our Graduates

There truly is so much beauty in the pain, so much light in the darkness. I found the Lord! I’m so happy! I was in such pain and turmoil with family. I got baptized and felt such joy and felt ‘lifted’! The seeds were planted, some grew, some harvested. Good did come out of it!

Yes, I am still struggling some, but aren’t we all? I found the Lord in what we did at Agape House, at that moment, at that time! To me that was a success! Was it worth all of the heartache? Yes. Would I do it again? Yes!
I finally know what you were talking about with the Lord! I currently attend and volunteer at church. I am grateful for a church body!

I recently graduated from Agape House. Yes, its been rough, but I qualify for an apartment on my own! I’ve been married for three years! Raising three young children is busy. I go to work just to get a rest. I have kept a job for over two years!
