Our Mission

“Agape House of Prescott exists to provide long term transitional housing for families who are without a residence. We actively seek to keep the families together while helping facilitate additional support services in order to equip the families for an independent and self-sustained future.”

Everyday Discipleship

The desire at Agape House is to create a community of discipleship based on the Gospel.

Jesus continuously discipled: on the walk, at the campfire, while needs were being met, throughout all moments. With so many people seeking hope and purpose, everyday discipleship is what God is calling us to do. Agape House teaches the life skills to get the job done. By providing hope in Jesus, families find themselves back on the right path- The Pathway to Independence. Is it easy? No. Is it worth it? Absolutely!

Thank you so much for your partnership in prayer and finances to make it possible!

Homeless Services in Prescott, AZ

Rebuilding and Transforming Lives

The Agape House of Prescott is a local nonprofit that is changing the lives of families in crisis by rebuilding and transforming their lives. They exist to provide long-term transitional housing for families who are currently without a home.

The face of the homeless is not who you may think. There are homeless students at Yavapai College, Bradshaw and Prescott High School, and in Prescott area elementary schools. The homeless serve you at restaurants, help you at Thrift Stores and Grocery Stores, and work on Construction sites. They are families living on friends’ couches, in the forest, in parking lots, and trying to manage a family while their ‘home’ is a car.

Agape House of Prescott shows them love and support and shares the hope of Jesus with them. Agape House has provided discipleship, mentoring, life skills training, and interim housing for homeless families in crisis, resulting in an 86% success rate of families living independently one year after they leave the program.

Agape House of Prescott found that the solution to homelessness is the Pathway to Independence.

» The first 30 days begins with stability
» The second phase centers on personal wellness, emotional and mental health stability
» The third phase implements life skills training
» The last step focuses on sustainability and independence

According to the Community Health Needs Assessment 2019 report from The Yavapai Regional Medical Center, Yavapai County has 31,859 people in poverty. That is 14.7% of the population living in poverty.

Agape House continues to work to make a significant impact on the homeless crisis in Prescott.
