Women of Wisdom Bless Agape Families
A massive shout-out of appreciation for the recent outreach project from the American Lutheran Women of Wisdom (WOW).
“WOW” has blessed Agape House with their outreach project for four years!
We sincerely thank the group for its generous blessing of “Hope” toward a brighter future for our Agape Families. The support of the “WOW” women is pivotal to our families. We are profoundly grateful for their partnership and steadfast commitment to our cause. The numerous success stories we celebrate are made possible through American Lutheran Women’s Group donations.
Tickets to the Zoo From “WOW”
Agape House families enjoyed a field trip to the Heritage Park Zoo in Prescott. “WOW” ladies group gifted one of our families tickets to the Zoo during a recent American Lutheran outreach. The mother who received the gift wanted to share it with the rest of the Agape House families. The Agape Children’s Ministry teacher secured nonprofit pricing with the Heritage Park Zoo for the rest of the families. Everyone had a fun-filled day together!
The families enjoyed learning about the baby bears, skunks, and weasels. The children were full of questions. We were blessed to see many of the animals. We even saw “Jade,” the Mountain lion, who came out to say “Hi.” The older children would read to the younger ones, and everyone would listen to the description of each animal. When they all went inside the petting zoo, petting the animals brought smiles to their faces. Lunchtime was a time of play and replenishment, and parents got to share and relax. The day at the Zoo finished in the sandbox, where the children could dig and explore. The day at the Zoo was full of exploration, discovery, and learning; it will not be a day we soon forget. Nobody wanted to leave.
