Support Comes in All Forms
Agape support comes in all forms: prayers, words of encouragement, donations of goods, financial support, and volunteering of time and talents! We are equally grateful for all of the community support Agape House receives.
Chadwick Insurance Agency recently sent Agape House this kind letter, showing their support for the work we are doing in the lives of the families in the Prescott area.
Thank you, Makayla, for taking the time to share these kind words with us!
To whom it may concern,
I am writing this letter to wholeheartedly express my unwavering support and endorsement for the exceptional work being carried out by The Agape House of Prescott. I have been a witness to the transformative effects this organization has on homelessness and empowering families to regain self-sufficiency.
The Agape House of Prescott has been steadfast in its mission to provide discipleship, mentoring, life skills training, and interim housing to homeless families in crisis. Their unwavering dedication has resulted in an impressive 86% success rate, with families successfully transitioning to independent living one year after completing the program.
What sets The Agape House apart is their innovative approach, known as the Pathway to Independence. This comprehensive program encompasses a series of distinct phases, each designed to address specific needs and pave the way towards sustainable self-reliance. The initial 30-day period focuses on establishing stability, creating a solid foundation for families to build upon. The subsequent phase centers on fostering personal wellness, emotional well-being, and mental health stability. As families progress, the program then integrates valuable life skills training, equipping individuals with the tools they need to thrive independently. Finally, the program culminates in a strong emphasis on sustainability and independence, ensuring that families are equipped to maintain their newfound stability for the long term.
The statistics provided in the recent Community Health Needs Assessment 2019 report from The Yavapai Regional Medical Center paint a stark reality, with 31,859 individuals in Yavapai County living in poverty, representing a staggering 14.7% of the population. In light of these distressing numbers, the continued efforts of Agape House in addressing the homeless crisis in Prescott are nothing short of commendable.
It is with utmost confidence that I endorse The Agape House of Prescott and their tireless pursuit of eradicating homelessness. Their transformative approach and unwavering commitment to empowering families to break free from the cycle of poverty are truly awe-inspiring. I wholeheartedly urge you to support this remarkable organization!!
