Families Move In

What a fantastic New Year it was for two of the Agape House families! Two single mothers successfully graduated from the Agape House program and were ready for their next home. Housing in the Prescott area is costly, and the housing options for families are limited. That is where Agapeville II in Prescott Valley saves the day!

The Prescott Valley Agape House community currently has two homes, four more planned over the next several months, for graduate families ready for their own homes. The Prescott Valley homes offer families time to save money for their own place. The homes act as a bridge from the Agape House program to fully independent living.

At the beginning of January, numerous volunteers assisted in packing up the two households from the Agape House Prescott campus and relocating the single mothers into their new homes in Prescott Valley. It only took the Heights Church Volunteers a few hours to move both families.

The single mothers are incredibly hard-working and are excited for the next chapter for their families. One single mother of two young children shared, “Thank you to Agape House donors and volunteers for helping us move on a Saturday morning. My family loves the supportive Agape House community.”

After the move was complete, residents and volunteers shared a sweet prayer time with the families. The group was thankful for the abundant support received for the families. The families received encouragement for the rest of their journey.

Agape House thanks all the supporters, churches, businesses, and organizations that made Prescott Valley Agapgeville II possible through financial and prayerful contributions. Your support has provided families with an opportunity for a better future.
