Warm home on a snowy day… “I woke up this morning overwhelmed with gratitude for a roof over my head, for a warm bed to sleep in, food in my refrigerator and the life replenishing moisture of freshly fallen snow from the recent storms.

I am aware of several recent calls at Agape House of Prescott that families and individuals are sleeping in their cars or trailers without heat or running water for several nights. As I look at the Agape House property with the beautifully fallen snow, I am thankful a volunteer dropped off food boxes this past Saturday and families are warm inside their homes. Kids are doing online zoom classes and while other children laugh and playing outside in the snow. Another volunteer is outside working to build a laundry room for our residents (the snow is not stopping him). An Agape House resident shoveled the snow off the walkways to create a safe environment for us all.

I see God at work in so many ways already this morning.

THANK YOU for giving, for faithfully praying and serving to make the ministry of Agape House possible. God is at work transforming lives through HOPE, LOVE and HOUSING!”
