Agape House Received Special Performance
The saying, “walk a mile in my shoes,” can take on several different applications and meanings. Steven Cade, a Nashville country music artist, generously dedicates his time and talents to sharing stories about his “walk” of being homeless with others. Cade travels the country and uses his talent of music and songwriting to bless struggling families.
Steven Cade, his wife, and two children plan to travel to 100 homeless shelters to perform concerts for struggling families. His own family found themselves homeless a few years ago, and they were grateful for the generosity of others to help them through that difficult time.
The Cades recently visited Agape House and performed a private concert for the residents and staff. Steven played some of his new hit songs, shared stories with the Agape House residents about the challenging times his family endured, and told stories of victory. It was a sweet time loving on the Agape House families.
An event isn’t complete without sweet treats. The staff organized a cookie decorating contest at the event. After the decorating contest was complete, the sweets were devoured by all!
The event ended with Steven presenting two beautiful Taylor Guitars as gifts to Agape House from Brent and Christina Yates and the Restor Us Foundation.
Agape House is grateful that Steven and his family took the time to visit Agapeville. We pray for blessings for his family and their effort to continue his tour and bring awareness to homelessness.
