Donated Windows and Donated Labor

Work Day on 3/12/22

A team of eight dedicated men replaced nine windows in our Agapeville apartments in less than 2 hours. MI Windows in Prescott Valley donated the windows! In addition to the windows’ donation, Agape House volunteers donated the labor, and Two Mamas Pizza donated lunch and a significant contribution.

We are continually improving the Agape House Apartments. We hold regular workdays to accomplish the renovations and improvements at the Agape House Interim Housing complex. Replacing the windows would have cost thousands of dollars and many hours of labor. The team of volunteers completed the project on one Saturday morning workday. If you are interested in joining us, please get in touch with Agape House of Prescott.

The Willow Hills Baptist Youth Group dedicated their Saturday morning to helping the families at Agape House. According to Co-Founder Jim Flower, “What a great youth group from Willow Hills. There were 10-12 young people ages 12-15 with some adults. They worked hard for the Lord! They painted, refinished the picnic table, and moved about 4 tons of rock for landscaping. While painting the carport, about 6 girls were painting at one point; then I realized there was only one girl working. I thought maybe something was wrong and asked where the other helpers went. She said she didn’t care because it was the first time anybody trusted her to do a job like that. Agape House families came out to mingle and help. Matt Mitchell gave a guitar lesson to one of our families and Two Mama’s Pizza donated lunch. It was so much fun. Praise God. His name was exalted.”
